Post-composition Functionalities and Interfaces to Various Postal Service Providers

DocBridge® Pilot 4.1, the new release of the output management software for cost-optimized omnichannel customer communication of companies, organizations and public administration, will be released at the end of February. The high-performance, platform-independent and scalable solution offers various features in its new version, including improved multichannel processing, new scheduling/workflow management and an innovative plug-in mechanism for creating customer-specific gadgets (widgets).

New Web UI and Secure Access Permission Management

In addition, there are web UI options for job recovery/handling, various functionalities for secure management of access permissions (Permissions and Access Control Lists - ACL), and security/vulnerability reinforcement (OWASP / CVE / CWE).

DocBridge® Pilot 4.1 is a flexible output management system with extensive post-composition functionalities and interfaces to various postal service providers. The software's greatest advantages include file format independence, a high degree of flexibility and stability in the processing procedure thanks to the possibility of parallelization, and extensive configuration options for multichannel output.

By investing in DocBridge® Pilot, companies with a regularly high volume of mail can optimize their document output as needed and significantly reduce postage costs.

Omnichannel Output Management:
DocBridge® Pilot

Overall, DocBridge® Pilot covers all typical output management processes (post composition) including archiving and serves all common analog (paper-based) and digital (email, web portal, mobile devices, messenger services) channels.

DocBridge® Pilot provides the functions for compiling and outputting documents as mailings, making optimum use of postage discounts. In addition, there are functions for postal integrations and "enriching" pages with additional information for further processing, for example for adding inserts and downstream enveloping.

The scalable omnichannel solution is based on the decoupling of input data streams and output (shipment). It is designed for high throughput and is in use at well-known companies of various industries and sizes. Its key advantage is that it can be integrated into existing IT infrastructures or can connect other applications via open interfaces (legacy systems).

Special features:

  • High degree of automation
  • Omnichannel - print as well as all digital channels
  • Web service interfaces
  • Conversion of documents of any type and format
  • Pre-sorting of bulk mail
  • Seamless shipment tracking
  • Automatic insert control
  • Enrichment with additional information such as barcodes
  • Integrated DP franking
