Hunkeler Innovationdays 2013: Compart hones in on white paper production and quality assurance in high-volume production printing

Hunkeler Innovationsdays 2013

Hunkeler Innovationdays are and remain an important driver of Compart's business.

The global provider of document management solutions is again joining this event with the partner Docucom, one of the leading system integrators in the field of document creation and processing, in presenting its comprehensive portfolio for efficient multi-channel document management at this year's event.

At the exhibition, being held from February 11–15 in Lucerne, Compart is highlighting its support of high-performance white-paper production, that is, the creation and output of documents of every type on completely white paper – without preprinted forms and envelopes. The international OM expert, whose core business has long been the optimization of data streams, delivers companies of every size in every industry scalable and platform-independent software solutions for controlling the necessary data. Once in place, these solutions efficiently support even transpromotional printing in color and black and white.

One-stop service

Here Compart’s DocBridge Pilot software plays a key role. It extracts the necessary processing information from the systems involved as metadata, stores it in a relational database, and then retrieves it just in time for creating the specific document. Compart's support, however, is not limited to software solutions alone. Its portfolio also includes a variety of services that are essential for establishing a white-paper solution, including redesigning processes in document and output management, as well as providing training on data streams and color management. Compart also brings its technical expertise in high-performance dynamic end-processing in digital printing to the table, gained through its collaboration with all major manufacturers of enveloping, folding and printing systems. Customers therefore enjoy everything from a single source: a tailor-made IT solution as well as process design know-how, including color management.

DocBridge Delta lowers misprint rate

Yet another focus is quality assurance in high-volume production printing. For this task, Compart will be featuring DocBridge Delta, software for automatic document comparison, which in addition to English has been available in German since the beginning of this year, with the French version expected by mid 2013. Reliable and efficient document comparison is growing in importance in production environments, where reducing the misprint rate due to incorrectly implemented changes or out-of-date systems is key. With DocBridge Delta, companies have a tool that makes the associated check process more reliable. Companies with widely diverse documents such as banks, insurers, telecommunications providers and energy suppliers can particularly take advantage.
