Data Formats Overview: Basics of Data Formatting Using AFP, PDF, PCL and PostScript

The first part of this seminar includes a general overview of document formats and their differences, the content of data and metadata and structures, plus issues and rules which have to be followed when converting document formats. This is followed by the basics of unicode, fonts and color management.
The second part of the seminar comprises a detailed view of the structure and attributes of the AFP, PDF, PCL and PostScript document formats. Participants will be introduced to Compart‘s AFP and PCL dump analysis tools which will be given to them for free.
