Web-Based Multi-Format Viewer and More

DocBridge® Document Viewer is a web-based solution for viewing and digital documents of any format. The cloud-enabled application can be used to display (e.g. rotating pages, zooming, opening multiple documents at once) individual pages as well as pages combined in batches, and also display them with detailed comments and notes (annotations).

DocBridge® Document Viewer is primarily aimed at companies which are looking for a multi-format view solution for a high or frequently changing throughput of different documents which they can integrate directly into existing IT infrastructures.

Even for companies which increasingly receive documents via web portals or make them available to their customers, DocBridge® Document Viewer is a worthwhile alternative to conventional viewer offers due to its architecture, performance and wide range of file formats.

Since DocBridge® Document Viewer is based on the proven DocBridge® CORE Engine, all input formats of the Compart Matrix are supported. The user receives a uniform view of all these file formats. All resource references are supported for displaying documents. The display on screen corresponds exactly to the printed and/or archived document. The internal and external resources such as overlays, page segments, medium maps or form definitions or fonts, which are common for mixed object formats such as AFP, are resolved true to the original.

DocBridge® Document Viewer

DocBridge® Document Viewer is a web-based multi-document viewer which can be used in a variety of application scenarios in the field of document or output management due to its numerous integration functions and flexibility. Because it supports different mixed-object formats, it is one of the technological pioneers in this field.

A special feature of DocBridge® Document Viewer is its architecture: the solution has an open REST interface and can therefore be easily integrated into existing IT infrastructures.

About the DocBridge® Document Viewer

The user interface essentially consists of two elements:

Viewer Window

It can be used to display loaded documents, regardless of their format. The user does not notice this, but sees the desired document in the appropriate format and can still select individual pages.

The viewer offers all functions necessary for the comfortable display of document pages, such as scrolling, rotating and zooming.

Document Navigation Window

It provides an overview as a hierarchical "tree structure": in it, the stacks, documents and pages are arranged hierarchically, similar to Windows Explorer.

Also possible:
Targeted text search in the loaded documents, as far as they contain text objects. The search results are highlighted in color.

 

Resource Management

DocBridge® Document Viewer is able to display the internal and external resources such as overlays, page segments, medium maps, form definitions or fonts, which are common for mixed object formats such as AFP, true to the original.

Aim

To answer customer inquiries faster, employees should be able to access documents in the archive. A customer record contains all the correspondence in AFP format as well as scanned incoming mail.

Solution

DocBridge® Document Viewer receives the documents from the archive. The parts of the file are displayed simultaneously in a hierarchical structure. The employee gets a complete view of the file and can view individual documents or pages independently of the file format.
