Advisor to CEOs, AI First Systems Thinker, Seeing What Others Miss: Advisor & Innovation Strategist, Integrating Business, Technology, and Wellbeing, Former Chairman and CEO of Pitney Bowes, Inc.
Across five decades, 11 years of them as Chairman and CEO of Pitney Bowes, Inc, Mike focusses on solving problems that sit at the intersection of strategy, technology, health, culture, and organizational performance. These are issues where traditional approaches stall, incentives misalign, and fear suppresses learning – even in well-run institutions.
During his tenure at Pitney Bowes, Mike embraced innovation and transitioned the organization from electro-mechanical to a fully electronic and digital product line. Under his leadership, Pitney Bowes gained leadership status in mailstream solutions. Mike transitioned disparate lines of business in hardware and software into fully integrated operations, thus, Pitney Bowes thrived and outperformed the S&P 500 in total shareholder return during his tenure.
Today, as CEO of MoveFlux and through the MakeUsWell Network, Mike works with senior leaders on AI-enabled decision making, transformation, and organizational health. His mission is not to optimize what exists, but to help leaders reframe systems so agency replaces fear and value builds sustainability.
Mike is an exceptional strategic leader who researches traditional and non-traditional resources and connects critical dots to build stakeholder and shareholder value in organizations. What Mike’s leadership and expertise offer CEOs, Boards, investors, and senior leadership teams is practical and durable: clearer trade offs, earlier risk detection, and decisions that perform under pressure.
Mike graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BA and Harvard Law School, JD cum laude.
