To strengthen our international IT company in Böblingen (near Stuttgart), we are looking for a Senior Web Developer with backend experience (Full Stack)* (permanent position).

Your Future in the Compart Team

Your responsibilities:

Independent participation within an agile team in the new and further development of sophisticated medium-sized and large products
Development of modern and high-performance user interfaces, e.g. for the graphical editing of document templates based on the open standards such as XHTML, CSS, XPATH and XSLT
Working with both native web technologies and established frameworks such as React and Redux Toolkit
Active collaboration together with designers and product owners during implementation and (unit) testing as part of the agile development process as well as mutual reviews, pair programming, continuous integration and refactoring
Providing information to our technical writers for the creation of product documentation
Participation in design and architecture drafts (within the framework specified by the system architecture)
At least 2-3 days/week with the team in our office in Böblingen

Your profile:

Successful studies in computer science, software engineering or comparable qualifications
Comprehensive knowledge - as a senior with at least 5 years of experience - in the design and implementation of user-friendly, high-performance and secure web applications based on well-known frontend frameworks (React, Angular or Vue.js)
Confident handling of the programming languages JavaScript, Typescript, HTML and CSS; in the use of REST and XML technologies (e.g. XSD, XSLT, Xpath & JsonPath); experience in GIT, web security and ideally knowledge of containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) as well as a good understanding of software design patterns and clean code principles
Understanding of security principles and proven methods and patterns in web development (state management, event handling, ...)
Ideally experience in backend development and provision of RESTful APIs
High willingness to learn, technological curiosity and ability to analyse as well as a positive attitude and solution orientation
Good team and communication skills, very good written and spoken English, knowledge of German desirable
