Smart Solutions for Dynamic Output - Realized with DocBridge Mill
Elvira Eichhorn-Söbbing and Thomas Simon, Docsellent
Abstract
Document senders and recipients alike have at their disposal any number of electronic transmission channels from various suppliers. All suppliers offer highly individualized features and processes in an attempt to set themselves apart from the competition. But the lack of interoperability between the individual channels greatly degrades user-friendliness for senders and recipients. Our presentation addresses this particular problem and demonstrates how a dynamic channeling platform – implemented using DocBridge Mill – created a universal interface in the world of digital document transmission.
Elvira Eichhorn-Söbbing

She began her career as a z/OS system programmer and grew to become an expert in output in a decentralized system landscape. Her areas of expertise include downstream output processes such as spooling, printing, enveloping, and delivery tracking. As a technical consultant at docsellent, she is currently advancing the improvement and optimization of production processes, such as the project “Downstream bundling of data streams shortly before printing,” which was implemented to boost printing and enveloping efficiency.
