Comparting November 14–15, 2013 in Böblingen: ECM and ADF 2.0 converge

Revolutionary concepts, scenarios, and technologies for holistic document processing

Comparting 2013

This year's Comparting on November 14th and 15th in the Böblingen Congress Center will revolve around one question: How do we make document logistics more efficient and position it as a key contributor to a company's overall cost-cutting efforts?

The international forum will discuss various approaches and solutions, and high-profile users from a number of industries and countries will share their experience with expanding and updating their output management landscapes. Among the companies represented will be Xerox, Commerzbank Luxemburg, and Barmenia Insurance. Kaspar Roos of InfoTrends market research will kick off the two-day forum with his presentation, "Trends and Opportunities in Customer Communications".

This year's focus is linking Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and high-volume document production (Automated Document Factor - ADF 2.0). Harald Grumser, founder and CEO of Compart, explains why the two worlds complement one another. In this context, he will introduce DocBridge Domtrac, the first multi-channel document management solution to combine both areas into one system. DocBridge Domtrac offers numerous opportunities for automated and interactive workflows (releases, invoicing). It allows companies to monitor and control the collection, processing, archiving, and output of large quantities of documents in real time - regardless of their source, format, or output medium. The new solution will be available in November in German, English, and French; other languages are being planned.

Innovation driver for the industry

Other presentations include "Experience with Inkjet in Production Printing" (Canon), "Workflow and Business Process Management" (Pentadoc), "Color Management and Workflows" (Compart), along with others. Like every year, all presentations will be simultaneously interpreted into English and/or German. Since its debut eight years ago, Comparting has grown into a major international forum for innovative document and output management. With its blend of forward-looking presentations, best practice scenarios and constructive discussion rounds with users, partners, and market analysts, the conference has evolved into a driver of innovation for integrated enterprise document processing. Attendance is expected to be higher than ever this year.
