Document Desktop: visualize, delete and authorize remotely generated documents on the PC

Document Desktop - Compart document release tool

Employees can display documents that they have been created on their PCs and have passed through the FileCab solution.

Compart, a leading provider of document and content technology solutions, announces the general availability of Document Desktop, a web-to-print application for introducing enterprise-wide document processing. Employees can display documents that they have been created on their PCs and have passed through the FileCab solution. They can view different properties, even delete documents if necessary and send them on to central printing, e-mail and archive with just a simple mouse-click.

In conjunction with DocBridge FileCab, a Compart solution that generates, validates, and archives decentralized correspondence (PC workstation), also supports embedding in central output management. Users can also configure both automatic and interactive release mechanisms, depending on the area of application and document logistics. The tool can be configured for one- or two-person release authorization.

Document Desktop allows users to manage documents that have been processed through FileCab and were previously checked by DocBridge FileCab for conformity with corporate identity (CI) and compliance rules. This not only improves the quality of external correspondence but also generates significant savings by embedding locally generated documents into central processing.

Document Desktop is available in German, English and French. The “From the Compart lab” series at this year’s Comparting on October 15-16, 2015 in Böblingen will feature more information on this application.
