To strengthen our international IT company in Böblingen (near Stuttgart), we are looking for a Senior Java Developer* (permanent position).

Your Future in the Compart Team
Your responsibilities:
- Independent contribution in an agile team working on the development of new products or on the further development of already existing, sophisticated medium and large scaled products
- Dealing with native web technologies and established standards with plenty of room for creativity and your own solutions
- Active contribution to the agile development process - in collaboration with our designers and product owners, as well as within a team during the implementation and the (unit) testing
- Mutual code reviews and pair programming, continuous integration and refactoring
- Providing information for our technical writers for the preparation of product documentation
- Overview of the building process and promotion of design and architecture
- Close cooperation with our product management and other teams in the entire software development process
- minimum of 2-3 days/week in the office in Böblingen
Your profile:
- Successful study of informatics or comparable qualifications
- Strong basic knowledge of object orientation as well as relevant experience in software development with Java – at least 5 years
- Good knowledge in applying the Spring Frameworks, Unit Testing and agile software development processes
- Experience in JDBC, web services and XML
- Technological curiosity and the ability to analyse technical complexities independently
- Profound knowledge in the area of software architecture, Clean Code and database design
- Good knowledge of the English language
