Telecommunications
Speed up your business and simplify your processes with Compart solutions
Customer Billing - by Post, E-mail or Web Portal
You're introducing a new telecommunication product; due to high pressure from competition, sending physical bills is not cost-effective or will involve additional charges. Your company establishes that the customers themselves should decide how they want to receive their bill: as a letter, email or PDF via a Web portal. When generating the bills, it should also be immediately available as a PDF/A for audit-proof long-term archiving.
The solution
The Compart solution pools the billing data stream from your billing system and uses this to produce individual invoices. Based on the format your customer wishes to receive their invoice, the Compart solution arranges for the invoice to be printed, produces the invoice in PDF format and sends this via email or provides the invoice for your customer to download from the Web portal. In the same stage, PDF/A documents are produced for audit-proof long-term archiving and are added to your archive system.
Of course, it is also possible to create more complex processes with our
solution:
For example, if the email address of the recipient is invalid, the
corresponding error message can be processed by the Compart solution, which can
initiate the print and optimized dispatch of the invoice.
Benefits for you
- Integration with existing applications and systems, such as billing and CRM
- Documents are sent via the customer’s preferred means
- Document creation and delivery is configured centrally at one location
- Simple mapping of even complex processing rules
Your Call Centre Requires Immediate Access to the Documents Sent to Customers
Your marketing department has mentioned a new telecommunication product in correspondence with your customer. On the next day, your call centre receives many queries about this new and innovative product, but has no access to the letter which was sent to the customers as letters.
The AFP stream of print data is available on a file server, but your call centre cannot use it.
The solution
The Compart solution can search through the print data stream "on the fly" to find the customer number of the company calling, extract the letter sent to the customer and display it on the application usually used by the call centre agents. It does not make any difference whether it accesses PDF/A files in the archive or whether documents may need to be extracted from print data streams - the solution is able to answer customer queries quickly and expertly.
Benefits for you
- Customer queries can be quickly and expertly answered - the satisfaction of your customers will improve noticeably.
- Customer-relevant information can be accessed at any time - irrespective of whether the documents have been saved in the archive ready for use or whether they are in a print data stream
- Very simple integration into existing environments and processes
