The PDF data format (Portable Document Format) is an industry standard and for archiving (PDF/A) an ISO-standard. This workshop covers the details of the PDF data format, creating PDF and PDF/A files and fonts, metadata, viewing and proofing.

A key section is analysis of the data format with the appropriate tools.
